Like this golden nugget from Nova: Bite-sized, digestible physics clips from their Elegant Universe series. String theory? Hell, yeah. Parallel Universes? There goes my word count.
What about the Ten Most Revealing Psych Experiments ever conducted? I'm pretty sure there was a Twilight Zone eppy based on every one.
Or what about this gem?
Hardly scientific, but Ben Bailey has elevated the taxi cab to wicked cool proportions. I'd time travel with him. Only if this guy didn't join us.
Have a great Monday, everyone!
Today's question: Where was the last place you went in a cab?

Betraying your mid-draft, are you? :-) Do like I do, isolate youself... I refuse to have the Internet on my laptop... :-)
Oooh, I'd like a ride (or a few) in that time cab...
The last place I went in a cab was Coba, a Mayan archaeological site with the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan peninsula...
Wicked an evil time suck cheerleader you are.
Last place I went in a cab...
Cosmic/mystical
or
dull boring yellow one?
Oh, bad *bad* L.A. for getting this time suck in my head! (Bad!) And I didn't even need it, as I had a new idea charge me mid-draft, too, so it wasn't like I had time (or brain matter) to spare!
Bad L.A.!!!
I'll have to check out the ten psych studies. See if I agree.
Dang you, I'll be linking all day now until I thoroughly understand string theory (and with my slow brain that could take awhile).
I love watching the Cash Cab! Let's see, the last time I was in a cab was from the airport in Atlanta to my hotel.
last cab: to older daughter's post-grad grad, last year...
like charles, gotta check them thar psych thingies ;) lol
Oh, L.A. (*groan*) I loved watching The Elegant Universe on Nova--and I have the book, too. Sure, give me yet another String Theory distraction. Sigh. Off to check out that link now ;-).
Ooh, I was in New York with my daughter, swaying against her as the cabbie swerved and fought for position amongst a thousand other drivers, horns beep-beeping, hot dogs and exhaust fighting for presence in the sticky, summer air, sunlight filtering past skyscrappers and occasionally catching a mirrored building with brilliant glare, folks shuffling at cross walks, feet posed for that all-important-gotta-get-across-the-street step, jackhammers thumming; all inside a city alive with its own vibrancy. Great memory. Thanks for letting me relive it.
I lurv Ben Bailey! Last place I went in a cab was home...after having a few cocktails. If you drink, be safe and cab it! It's the only way to go ;)
