Happy Red Envelopes

So I've been all up into Netflix since about a year ago, even gushed about it in this post, and you still haven't tried it? Good news. I have two free month rental codes in my hot little hand-that's two weeks longer than the free trial offered on their website. Double your Hugh Jackman, double your pleasure. Yes, you'll have to enter a valid payment method to make sure they can charge you if, say, your Boxer noshes on Hotel for Dogs, but you're free to cancel anytime during the month if you don't love it. But you will. Promise.

This should be easy if you've been a Vortex reader for even a bit. The first two different blog visitors to post the title of my #1 and #2 favorite time travel flick get the code. No sense checking my profile, people. I'm on to you. And if The Vortex isn't coming to you via feed, why the Stephen Hawking not? You're missing out on time-sensitive fun.

If you already have Netflix you're ineligible, but alas, already cool. Let us know in the comments the last movie you watched that came in the happy red envelope and enjoy this random photo of Jerry O'Connell abusing his Netflix stash by folding and dropping them.
Last two in my happy red envelope:

The Reader
The Five People You Meet in Heaven

Watch for another giveaway this week. Feed, people. Sign up.

Hey, L.A.--we love Netflix. We've subscribed for several years now. But we don't get movies so much as we watch complete series of TV shows. To name a few: all Star Trek series, The West Wing (which I loved so much I had to buy...), StarGate SG1 (with you know who). My hubby also can watch shows from Netflix via our XBox 360...

I'd never watch enough movies to make it pay.

I've heard great things about it, but I can't let myself sign up yet. All I need is another reason to procrastinate :). Although, I do believe I know at least one of your favorite time-travel movies! I'll check back to see what others guess...

@Jen...I do indeed know who :)!!! Summer is a great time to catch up on all the shows we've missed.

@Charles...such a bookworm you are

@Marilyn...I only get the one-at-a-time plan and use the movie to reward myself for hitting a daily or weekly goal. Works great :)

Idaho Transfer

Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah

Why these are your favorite time travel movies is beyond me but like I always reply when the old lady tells me she loves me..."there's no accounting for taste."

Join Netflix and rid the torture of my children spending *forever* in Blockbuster trying to pick out a movie to watch? Hmm...

Would I then be tortured in my own home? Hmm...

And the feed thing? Yeah, this computer genius (not!) isn't sure how to do that.

We don't belong to NetFlix because DH works at a used bookstore and is allowed to check out their DVDs, so it's not necessarily what I would have picked out, but you can't beat the price!

My guess is Somewhere in Time, but I may just be smoking crack. That or the original Terminator. (Hee hee!)

@walkingman...now I don't suspect, I know. You are King-smart-arse. Do these movies even exist?

@Robin...it would be a win win. I feel your Blockbuster pain. I think you should try it. Take an eensy-guess after checking my labels...bottom right sidebar. Oh, and if you want me to pop up in your email or elsewhere, select one of the options under the BEAUUUUTIFUL Golden Heart charm :)

Let me know if you have trouble.

You know LA...for these being your favorite time travel movies I would have thought that you had seen them...weird.

No guesses, lol. I've got the Blockbuster program and I love it b/c I can trade movies in the store if I'm too impatient :)

@walkingman...Godzilla has atomic breath in this one. Why didn't I think of that plot device to counteract a bend in the space-time continuum?

Oh,and Idaho was never that cool when I was there. I fear there is no substantive eye candy in this one :O

@Katie...glad you've found the perfect movie venue ;) Thanks for stopping by.

No Netflix for me but I love your enthusiasm for it. :-)

Seriously? No one, huh? I'd be happy to pass it along, no movie guesses necessary. I'll save those answers for another foray into fun and free:)

Wait are you saying I was wrong?
